December Blog Hop

You should have come from Sharon Sharon http://simplysweetbysharon.blogspot.com/ if not start at My Cricut CraftRoom- http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com

The Light garland was made with Sweet Tooth Boxes. I cut the store out at three inches without the layers or the roof. I then cut the cross peices from the windows. I embossed the edges with a rust color to make it seem metalic and then stapled them over the lights.

The Layout was made with Cricut Alphabet for the heart and phrase, Cricut Essentials for the corners and background, and CindyLou for the frames. Then of course came the stikles and beads.

Thanks for stoping by now head over to   Tracy http://scrappininthewoods.blogspot.com/

Festive Friday

This banner was made using Cricut Alphabet for the letters and Create a Critter for the leaves. After cutting the leaves I crumpled them and inked them in brown. My daughter glittered the edges. Jingles outfit is from Paper Dolls dressup.

Would You Guess Wednesday

This was made using Cricut Essentials and Create a Critter. The moblie parts were made by layering images from Cricut Essentials I used flocking on the lamb and cloud and glitter on the moon and stars. I used pop dots under the tittle, lamb, moon, and two of the mobiles arms to give dimension.

Theme Day Thursday

I made this Wintertime Picture with Paper Dolls Dress Up, George and Basic Shapes, My World, and Joys of the Season. The table was "built" with CCR, and the curtain is a bit of leftover crepe paper from my sisters babyshower. I enjoy making these pictures they're more challenging in some ways than paints, with paints I don't have to look for the right image I just draw it lol (ignore the mess in the background)

Would You Ever Guess Wednesday

This is a secret rendezvou between two magical creatures. See how they sparkle. They were made with Paper Dolls Dress Up. The hills in the background are painted with ink, the flowers in the unicorns mane are drawn with gel pens, her mane is flocking and her coat is sparkling embossing powder, all other sparkle comes from glitter.

Festive Friday

This banner was inspired by a t-shirt Erica wore on one of her Ustreams. I used Paper Dolls dressup (my favorite at the moment) George and basic shapes and Joys of the Season. I'm truly afraid of spiders. (bad spider bite and three months in a hospital will do that). But these candy loving creatures are quite harmless, and there web is so sparkly.

Would You Guess Wednesday

This "painting" was made using only Paper Dolls Dress Up. My lovely assistant Fancy (my daughter) painstakingly cut out the chip board behind the windows so the light of the taplite behind shows through the vellum windows. The sky is a glittery emboss (blue blaze, my favorite).

Scrapbook Saturdays

The inspiration for this layout was my grandson in his Tigger outfit. The cart is Create a Critter and the pattern paper is from the safari pack by The Paper Studio. The "jungle" is my living room covered in baby stuff. Bottles and diapers and blankies oh my.
